Babu is so down to earth! He should have mentioned how we helped people in our community! I am one of those children who always hanged out in Babu's place and help him in their store. My parents were not able to afford school for me. Babu was so kind to help me finish my study by paying for some of my school fees in exchange of assisting him. Now, I am an engineer working in Canada! It would have not been possible if not for Babu's help. He helps but never really mention it. He is pure of heart! If you can, visit Babu and meet this amazing person!

What Babu said is really true. When we were young, we had no financial worries or any career worries. I remember i spent so many countless hours in my local gaming parlor playing ps2 games. Wrestling games were really fun playing with strangers and friends alike. Now that we have grown up and found ourselves on different career paths and have responsibilities, sometimes at night i recall my childhood memories and it really makes me sad for a moment. But that's life, you have to move on. But gaming has always been by my side till now. Still a hardcore gamer even in my late years.

I live in a small town called Nagpur growing up in the 90s. The companies like Sony and Xbox had not penetrated the market deeply enough to reach small towns like mine. Small gaming shops like babu’s were the ones that made big title games accessible to kids from towns like ours as an adult, now, I feel so thankful that these shops and their owners cater to children and their interests back in those days, making our childhood way, more fun at a very little cost and creating a brigade of gamers that can handover the torch of gaming to the next generationthank you Baabu and many other gamer uncles across India for making gaming possible for the 90s, Indian kids.

Babu is an amazing human being! I am happy to have played in games with him when I was just a young boy! Growing up in their store was definitely worth it! I miss Babu and I am glad he is doing well even his papa. I migrated in Canada already, but growing up with Babu and their store is a story I will forever treasure to myself and my children! Thank you for having this video! I can't believe it got suggested to me in YouTube!

I was in the 7th grade in 2002, my dad and I looked for the PS2 in almost all places in Pune and Bombay and it was out of stock. One friend suggest 'babu video games' so my dad and I took my driver and had to look for a long time since this was inside a lane tucked in. I came across the adress but there was no 'babu video game' instead 'puran general stores' which smelled of kerosene and there was an old uncle packing jaggery in a newspaper. There was no way this was the place I was gonna find the PS2 which even the Sony showrooms didn't have. There weren't many cds and game posters etc in your face in the shop at that time. There was a dude with long hair dressed in white shirt white pant in the shop. I went upto him and asked him 'wheres babu video games' he said 'yahi hain' which literally translates to 'its right here'. I looked at him for 30 seconds and asked him, I'm looking for babu video games that sells play station. He told me ' this is babu video games, what are u looking for?' I went to get my dad and told my dad that this was babu video games. My dad looked at me and the store for a min. In the end I ended up buying a PS2 for 13k INR and he gave me smack down here comes the pain and a controller free. Also while babu was explaining how to connect the PS and the functions a woman in her maxy came from the nearby slum and yelled 'babu do ande de' which means 'babu give me two eggs', I looked at my dad and he was shocked too. 🤣🤣🤣
Second story is my friends from school in 10th took home a PS2 from babu using another friends name who was a regular as guarantee. They took 6 controllers and a few games for the weekend. They never bothered to return it for more than a week. One morning after the school assembly we see babu dressed in white shirt white pant in our school, he was later in the principals office for a while. It was really hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
