My brother pretended to go to college for a year, even faked exam results. My mother found out because she went to pay tuition and the secretary told her he never attended the previous year. When confronted he was furious that the secretary shared âhis informationâ. Not remotely remorseful.
No one died though.

Even as a fellow Bengali immigrant, there is no justifying his actions. I get that there is intense pressure from family and the community; shame is an intense deterrent and punishment. However, this guy lied about his education and chose to live with them throughout this time. Even in the most repressive of families, people donât massacre their entire families. This dude was selfish and he didnât want to confront the image he created for his family.

Went to college with a girl who flunked or dropped out unbeknownst to us and family. Parentsâ showed up for âparents weekendâ and she locked herself in her room & took her life before the lie fell apart. She was a sweet & funny person and I wish sheâd reached out to friends & family. No amount of disappointment is worth ending your life or others- Iâd rather have you here & damaged than not here at all. RIP.

People are so weird... I know if he had told his parents they would have been upset, dissapointed, etc. I know my dad would have, because he cares about his son just like they did. There are many other options than going to school, this was not justified at all. I wonder how much his peers on discord actually contributed towards his lethal thinking.

this guy was a family friend of mine. I knew his sister but never met him, when the news broke it didnt even feel real. I cant even wrap my head around how he was able to muster up the will to do that to his family. rest in peace to them
it feels surreal that a video of him is on youtube now after 2 years of this happening

I think it's sorta "funny" how mods throughout the internet dismiss horrible comments and behavior as "extreme humour"...
I mean, looking at ourselves and people around us irl, saying extremely offensive and/or violent things is reserved for moments of extreme anger. It's not a "normal" state of mind for most people. So, regardless of it being online, if someone regularly behaves violently and offensively, I personally think this should not be looked at lightly...It's normally not "just a joke", even if the person never gets to act on anything. Their mental health might be something to check on, before it gets to some crazy point.

Idk if people talk about it a lot, but I was concerned when Ryan and Shane left because I didnât know who or what could fill that hole one the channel. Honestly, I couldnât be happier Matt & Aria have become the 2 new âfacesâ (I guess you could say) of the channel. They have great chemistry, but donât need to intertwine on every video to make them huge. It makes me happy to know that Buzzfeed found the two best people to fill the new content on this channel

Sounds like another case where someone lied about going to school and having a job and when the parents found out and were going to talk about it they killed their family.
