This song tore my heart out. I lost my nephew last July, I found him. We were very close and my life is forever changed without him. It’s like it says in the song I had someone that I loved and now I’m left to live without him. Wow. Bawled my eyes out. 😢

This song is the quintessential amalgamation of loss and acceptance. Truly heartbreaking, tragic, magnificent, and hauntingly beautiful. I had flashbacks of all the people I've lost in my life, and it really fuckin sucks... but it really just shows me the true beauty of life and how important and impactful our friends, family, and loved ones are.

This song has gotten me by in recent times. My fiancée left me for what everyone in my life determined to be no discernably good reason. I had a person I loved, and now I'm left to live without her. Grief doesn't ever subside, you just learn to live with and block out the anguish.
Don't take time with loved ones for granted ever, because they may wake up one day and decide they hate your guts, or they may not even wake up at all one day. Love like it's that person's last day on Earth. God bless. ❤️

I feel like Dave ripped his heart wide open, so we could all grieve together. I have bawled through every song I've heard. I pre-ordered the white vinyl and cant bring myself to listen to the whole album all the way through yet, because I know it's going to hurt. I so love the humans that are The Foo Fighters.

I'm a grown assed man that's not known for sentiment but this song touched me and made me cry tears of joy. RI.P. Taylor, welcome Josh Freeze to the Foo"s and hopefully, here's to another 25 sum years of rocking like few bands on this Earth ever could.
