I lost my mom on my bday a few months ago and it still hurts. Loved that woman so much. She wasn't the best mom but still. We went from living together bc she was my mom obviously, but once my uncle started taking care of me, I saw her less and less over the years. I went to spend the weekend with her about a week before she passed and I'm so glad I did. She looked happy and drug free, which was a rare sight bc drugs are what made my uncle take me and my siblings away from her. Seeing pictures from her memorial and stuff after she passed made me realize how beautiful she was. A mom passing away seriously hurts the deepest parts of your heart, even if you don't see her everyday.
