When in your 20s you feel invincible you have all your friends your cool, life goes on forever, you don't think about it. When you hit your 50s you begin to think a lot, that it can end tomorrow in a heartbeat so enjoy your friends, family, while you can and if not that, even your cat.. Great song.

I'm not sure I can listen to this song without crying ever. It reminds me of my Uncle who died last year and he was ignoring the problems he was having. When Dave says "Are you well, I can't tell", it breaks me every time.

My son and I love the Foo Fighters but I lost him December 16,2022 at 29. Looking at the lyrics and just listening hurts but helps. And yes it's totally beyond me to understand why I don't have my boy but he's forever young and free. Keep going strong guys, you guys lost a loved one R.I.P. Taylor, but your music has pain and healing. Thank you guys for your realism.
