This whole album is such a bittersweet experience. It’s undeniably their best work since Wasting Light and the most emotional album in their entire discography. Yet, the circumstances that led to it still feel just as heartbreaking as when Taylor passed. You have to be completely cold and dead inside to listen to the album front to back and not feel anything, especially with this song alone. I don’t know how Dave continually manages to push through tragedy without becoming a total wreck while channeling it into something so beautiful but thank god he does. His example is without a doubt something to take note of and live by. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for everything the boys have done and how important they’ve been for me and everyone in the Foo legion. Whatever comes next I’ll still be there showing my support.

This song made me cry so hard. My daughter would be 33 in March and this year has been so hard I miss her so much. I told her when she was born I would keep her safe but I couldn't. Before being a parent I thought parents were all powerful but we aren't. I'm glad she is safe now but it will never take the pain away.

My father passed last year, and I told him to rest the last time I was with him. This song is heartbreaking, beautiful and comforting all at the same time. I'm so sorry for the losses Dave and the band have had to go through. THank you for the gift of these healing songs.

It’s been on replay…all day today. All I can do is think of my mom that passed in Dec. Music like this makes me connect instead of avoiding how I’ve felt…makes me wanna write music again. Reaching from the grief…mourning and just going through it. Love you guys for this.
