Taylor always visited drum shops all over the world when he was on the road, and would buy gear for whatever kids were in the store. He did this at the drum shop I was teaching at in Denver. I’m not talking about a pair of sticks. He’d drop a few grand on cymbal packs and snares. He never forgot where he came from. He was one of us.

Miss him terribly.

Apparently, Taylor never left his local drum store without buying equipment for any of the kids in there at the same time. What a legend. RIP.
