Hi jasmine, it’s been 14 months since this was uploaded, I hope you’re doing fantastic at UCLA! This is the end of your junior year I believe so congratulations, you’re almost finished! Life is crazy and I fully understand why you don’t upload anymore, your previous videos have been helping me so much and I hope that maybe one day you might return. Best of luck sincerely a viewer

Unasked for tips from a hs senior who finished all her apps and got brutally rejected from her top choice: (1) don’t put too much sweat into you application. If you’re crying and getting sick over it every night just from applying, it’s not worth the stress (2) do not. Do not! Compare yourself to other kids that got in!!! Their stats will be better than yours!!! That doesn’t mean you’re not a promising applicant and it especially doesn’t mean you’re worth less as a person!! (3) apply early!! Whether it’s early decision, early action, or you just submit your regular decision application a few months early do it!! It saves you a lot of stress and you’ll get your decisions earlier so you can start focusing on important stuff like financial aid, scholarships, housing, etc. (4) only apply to schools you actually want to go to, seriously. I applied to 4 schools and an extra safety school with a free application and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Do your research before throwing a $60 app fee to a school that doesn’t even have your major. (5) don’t feel pressured tell people where you’re applying. The adults in my life were always asking where I was applying and it was annoying!! College is about you! Your applications are no ones business other than your own!! Don’t let their judgements overinfluence your life choices. If you really have to tell them— lie!! Tell them you applied to your local state college whether you actually did or not— if you tell them you applied to an ivy or top school they will never, NEVER leave you alone ((even after you get rejected))!!! (6) have fun lol. College is only 4 years of your life (that’s a really short time!!)— it does not define your life or your accomplishments or your value

I don't know if anybody will see this, but you've genuinely changed the way I do everything, I'm a lot more organized, happier and productive, I've started trying harder in school and taking notes. (first time actually taking them) I just wanted to get this out there and say what I've been thinking, thank you!
