Yeah, it's complicated. But guess what? There's light at the end of the tunnel, and I've got some tips to share. Picture this: Our brains are like sponges, soaking up experiences. But sometimes, they get a little... messy. That's where the addiction puzzle fits in. Grab a seat, maybe some popcorn. Let's unpack this together. Because understanding is the first step to healing, my friends. People everywhere are tuning in, finding hope, and taking charge of their stories. Yep, you can too! Stick around, folks. We're diving deep, keeping it real, and finding our paths to a brighter, addiction-free future. Let's do this together! Hit that subscribe button, share your thoughts below, and let's keep this conversation rolling. See you in the next one!

Why ‘inside serene’? The idea of ‘inside’ is to navigate and dig deeper into what can human change to accumulate serendipity of thoughts that will help us mentally sync to a healthier, better and more in control of our thoughts.

Being mentally fit means having the skills to handle stress, think clearly and make good decisions, communicate effectively, and regulate one's emotions in appropriate ways.

Let us join together on how to become responsible and highly engaged in building a community of good people. There are many ways to improve and maintain mental fitness, such as getting regular exercise, practising mindfulness, and seeking support from others. Inside Serene's goal is to build a community of mental support regardless of your colour or religion. We are ONE!

Practising self-care and self-love enables us to give back and love others. I need your support to clean our social environment of toxic people and become a more responsible content creator.

The power of words to control our emotions can be therapeutic to our mental health;
✅ “I'm here for you.”
✅ “You are not alone.”
✅ “You are worthy and deserving.”
✅ “You don't have to apologize.”
✅ “There is treatment available to you
”
✅ “You are strong!.”

" We must be willing to encounter darkness and despair when they come up and face them, over and over again if need be, without running away or numbing ourselves in the thousands of ways we conjure up to avoid the unavoidable". - By Jon Kabat-Zinn

I have witnessed this behavior in a marriage to a man that only spoke of the damage done in childhood but did not dive into his emotional trauma with someone that could help to alleviate the pain. He had relapse/recovery rinse repeat. The last relapse was steroid use which exacerbated the stress even more. He became gym abscessed, adoration seeking,porn addicted. After 24 yrs & me being active in alanon etc I could no longer risk my wellbeing. I believe he found his “ new tribe ?” at any cost,which was the marriage. I wish him health & recovery, dopamine kept him from a dialogue about our end. I believe Dr M the only way “ out”. Is through. Dr M your insight is spot on. When the inability to confront the pain becomes the excuse to continue the addictive behavior it’s a dead end road.

Happy New Year to all. Let’s get this message out to more people. Dr MatĂ© I’m happy to say that in the area where I work, I am seeing a movement towards a better parenting message through midwives, health visitors and myself. We also have family hubs popping up. Thank you â˜ș

The content is great but the videos you show behind the lecture can be triggering to addicts. I know you’re trying to find images that match the words but your audience may be struggling with substances so cues from the images and videos can potentially act as a trigger for those new to sobriety.

Before you say what a great guy Gabor is, pls read My Traumatic Breakfast with Gabor Mate, by Stanton Peele. G is not the person you see on here...and everything he says has been said by others. He is no genius, just a very shrewd businessman who puts fame and fortune before everything else.
