I was a young man of 15. These songs take me back to a much better time. Everyone I loved was still alive.

I believe the music was better back then for the sheer fact we were all more grounded back then. Things moved slower, most folks still lived by a code of some kind, and it wasnt all about the dollar.

We had been married 6 years by 1977….my husband was in college….we had 2 small children. Hard times and fun times. We didn’t have much but we had music to listen to. Still listening today. And it’s amazing to see young people tuning into our music.

Music's CRAP now! Think I'd be willing to say 80s was last decade of good music.

'77 was the year I married my teen sweetheart. 47 years later many things and people have come and gone in my life but the 70's music and my teen sweetheart are still with me and will be till I pass. As CSN said and said it best Love the One your with and she is the one I'll be with the rest of my life. Thanks for all the great music and all the great memories.

I was 17 in 77 and on my own. Working my ass off everyday and listening to some of the best music ever produced. Had plenty bucks to party on too. Fun times.

What I loved about this era is that there’s something for everyone…folk, soul, rock, disco, ballads, blues. It was a truly great time for everyone. There was more diversity in music then than there ever will be again.

I was 8, but I can vividly remember where I lived, who my friends were, events in school, and the music I listened to. At 8 yrs old, I wasn't yet listening to music with friends, but my parents had the radio on all day long, and I had Happy Days Fonzie radio (Ha!) that I knew how to tune to the right stations. At 8, I was also able to differentiate between rock, soft rock, and dance music, and although I didn't know what each genre was called, I knew which u liked best! It was always radio rock, like: Thin Lizzy, Styx, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Joe Walsh, Eagles, Skynryd, Kiss, Queen, Grand Funk, The Who, Stones, Zeppelin....it was all great!
