yo! just a few things: 1. iā€™m seeing lots of ppl (presumably men) getting pretty aggressive in these comments. probably because oh my god! a woman! has made content geared towards other women! where are the men supposed to voice their opinions? probably somewhere else. iā€™m deleting all those comments because f*ck off. 2. more importantly, lots of people are pointing out (rightfully so) the lack of woc representative here. i made this video based on shows and movies that i have watched and for sure i shouldā€™ve included more representation but race wasnā€™t at the forefront of my mind when i was making this. i was just going off of stuff iā€™ve seen. iā€™m a woman of colour myself and of course we feel rage all the same as white women. who knows, maybe iā€™ll make another video based on woc rage.

female rage and male sadness is pretty rare in entertainment, because of gender roles and stereotypes. woman are told not to be angry and men are told not to be sad. itā€™s really therapeutic to see it let out on the screen

Thereā€™s something I love about female rage in shows. Not trying to be pretty, not being delicate or loving, not talking about guys, just so raw and real. Mens rage will never compete.

Man screams, he's angry, totally justified Woman screams, she's overreacting...

Female rage in films always give me the shivers, it's scary when a man shouts but it's just noise. When a woman shouts, it's raw emotion, all those bottled up feelings exploding out. It's amazing. sad, tragic and beautiful all at the same time.

I hate when people bring up the men crying thing when we talk about this. "What about men?" What about them? That's a separate issue. We're talking about women here.

I saw a comment that said women flipping out in anger and men crying are equivalent. Men crying is looked down upon as it's (wrongly) viewed as weak, Whereas if a woman explodes in anger it's trivialized and we're "making a big deal out of nothing." I hope some men would realize that when a woman finally shows her anger over a seemingly small thing, it wasn't just that, that was just the cherry on top. It was many things and she let the rage build up over time

This is the best and smoothest compilation of female rage that I've ever seen. Well done!

Oh God I have been imagining livid scenarios of me beating the shit out of people or smashing things and having a proper, cinematic meltdown since I can remember. Even screaming the loudest scream my lungs can push seems like a comforting idea. So many years of muffled sobs, muffled anger, muffled voice. So many years of grinding my teeth into marble, clenching my fists into bruises and just gulping down my anger like hot lava.

"i'm so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman's fit for." Jesus christ... that is so powerful. Like hearing all this about women needing to be caretakers and mothers and maids and cooks n shit makes me mad. But that line? It's heartbreaking. If a man doesn't show love, thats fine. That's what they do. But if a woman doesnt, there's something wrong with her. She's a monster.

there is such a soothing and bittersweet feeling from seeing women stand up for themselves and let out raw unfiltered rage after never having that opportunity to really let it all outā€¦ almost like theyā€™re yelling for me. I donā€™t care for men shouting on TV, even if I like their character, itā€™s just scary and obnoxious. But seeing a woman yell is like therapy of some sort

I feel like female rage is such a beautifully tragic aspect of femininity and I donā€™t know how to explain it. Female rage is so often caused by letting emotions build up until they explode and i guess thereā€™s just something so relieving about watching a woman snap and let all of that go.

As someone who's never let any of the anger outside and used self harm as a coping mechanism, this was quite therapeutic to watch

To everyone who is doing homework, leave the chat, breathe slowly, take a sip of water, and focus. To everyone who is trying to sleep, leave the chat, grab a blanket, and get the rest you deserve. To everyone who is feeling sad, grab a snack, get some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. When you're done, lay down, and get some rest, no matter the time. To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your art is amazing. Remain in your flow and get stuff done! -Not mine, but pass it around babes <33

3:46 ā€œI was nine! Nine, and taking care of you.ā€ ā€œShe didnā€™t love me. She didnā€™t love you. She didnā€™t give a shit about anyone but herself.ā€ Hits different when you grew up in a domestic abuse home and were adultified as a child. I feel like Iā€™m realizing my own mother doesnā€™t love me all over again. Lol. Iā€™m just rewatching this over and over and crying.

They donā€™t want us to be angry, because it connects us to our power. Donā€™t forget your power.
