This type of lesson is very much missing from you tube. Can you go a stage further and talk about fills in between the vocal line if one guitarist is strumming chords and singing. Good stuff thanks

I can’t even begin to imagine where I would be today if I knew 25 years ago what I’ve learned in the last 2 years watching your videos. You break these concepts and techniques down so neatly, making eating the elephant in the room of my musical shortfalls much easier to eat, if you’ll pardon the horrible mixed metaphor. Thank you 😊 🙏🏼

George Harrison was a master at this with the Beatles and beyond. To me, the most tasteful blending guitarist I've ever seen including his leads. He never played a note that he didn't need to or want to to make the song better. It was never about him. It was all about the music. He knows he wasn't a shredder and he was cool with that. He loved Eric Clapton way before Clapton was known. He told the Beatles about Clapton before the world ever heard him. Just a total musician. All the Beatles were and are for those alive. Paul was a songwriting machine. John of course was incredible too of course. Excellent lesson Stitch! Thank you!

Great lesson. So simple but why couldn't I have figured it out on my own? Because that's what teachers are for. Well done.

This is so basic and so fundamental, yet SO important and often overlooked. I was just talking to someone about this yesterday. I mean, literally, we were talking about this very concept yesterday - but you articulated it better than I did. Good job.
