That story about the guy under the bed reminds me of a story from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark where a girl is driving and a truck begins following her and starts blinking his lights at her. He follows her at every turn and even to her house. She runs out of her car when she arrives home only to realize that their was a man behind her seat with a knife and that the trucker was flashing his lights to scare him. That scared me as a kid.

You know, the Father and the Letter is a really sad story since you know you heard plenty of true stories where the parents killed their own children for unreasonable reasons. And this one is as real as it gets.
I had a friend whose father hated his guts just because his wife died during childbirth and blamed him for it. Luckily he didn’t physically abused him but more vocally and mentally until my friend moved to his aunt’s home.
So this story actually hits a bit closer to home for me because it reminds me of how things could have gone worse for my friend.

Not at all scary but I heard this one from my sixth-grade teacher and it was so wild I could never forget it.
So the story goes that there were two families that lived in the same neighborhood. They were super close and their kids would play together all the time. During a school break, one family was planning to go on a week-long vacation, so the mother of the other family offered to take care of their garden and front yard while they were gone. The mom spends an hour or so every other day watering and weeding the plants in the backyard. One day, her golden retriever runs up to her after rolling around and playing with a muddy ball of something... She realizes that it's the neighboring family's pet rabbit. Horrified, she takes the dead rabbit inside, washes the mud off and blow-dries its fur. Soon, it looked like an innocent sleeping bunny. The mom places the rabbit back inside the hutch to try to make it look like it had just died for no reason while the family was away. (Rabbits are fragile creatures and sometimes, it just happens.) The next day, the family returns from their trip and the mom greets them as they pull into the driveway. She quickly pretends to be occupied as they go into the house and braces herself. The mom of the neighboring family enters the backyard first.

I dunno why but I just find Mary's Mansion hilarious, and kinda enviable because Mary sounds like such a sweet girl.
Also, now I'm not a shipper or anything, but the image for this just looks like Juby and Anthong on a date while Rachie's being an awkward wingman.
Once again i'm not a shipper in the least, the scene just reminded me of that kinda situation
