You could always play an f at the fifth fret...
Or in the b position on the 8th fret...
Some people try to change the key from e flat to e to make it easier...
And they spend time trying to avoid a key thats not really any more complex

Why omit songs with an f chord, when you could just teach the student to play the F major triad? It's actually easier for beginners to learn to switch between the open c chord and F major triad. Great material though ❤

The trouble is you didn't play the guitar even once to demonstrate it Which would make your instruction a lot more interesting and enjoyable to a beginner.
