I love that this song has different layers of meaning and everyone can find a different piece of the same thing. To me this song is about our physical life, our planet, everything that we can touch or feel, everything here is so temporary, life of forms, destined to dissolve and disappear one day. And that is beautiful, because there is a part in us, in everyone and everything that is eternal. Watching it all change and dance, be born and die, feeling the temporary high of life.

OMG! I just got an email from the uni program I applied to and I shuffled aurora's album and this song came on and I opened my acceptance letter to this song! Will never forget this!!! I'm so happy! I've been stuck in the house with my toxic/drunk parents in a city lockdown cus of a snowstorm and I was starting to feel numb again (aurora is the only thing that's kept me sane), but I'm so happy now even if I can't feel the happiness! - Aurora is playing our dear Artemis, the Greek goddess of the Moon (1:05);
- The scenes in which she appears in front of a light source represent a solar eclipse (0:33, 2:38);
- The scenes with red tones represent the "Blood Moon" phase of a lunar eclipse (0:51, 1:47);
- 2:29 this scene represents the moon's gravitational power over the waves in earth's oceans (here represented by the people around Aurora).

Due to the nature of the song, this song comes on when I'm feeling down. It's a song that naturally relaxes you.

Anyone notice that at 2:29 the group is moving around her very similarly to how they did in the Queendom music video, mean to showcase the power she has, and the love she gives the people in her Queendom so they dance around her happily as she says "you have a home in my Queendom", but the difference is that in this version there are people circling the outside of the group. The people can't leave the space of power and need for love. In Queendom it was a partnership, a home. In this it's a cult, a prison.
The image of people worshipping this light also brings to mind Plato's Cave, an allegory, where people have lived chained to the wall of a cave all their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall from objects passing in front of a fire behind them and give names to these shadows. They become obsessed with the shadows. The shadows are the prisoners' reality, but are not accurate representations of the real world. This perhaps could represent the inescapable warping of reality that happens in these cult like situations, unaware of the outside world. You can also see the focus on shadows at 0:54 and 1:54.
