I was once in Germany, in Frankfurt, and there is a place called "Dialogmuseum". Basically, you are given a stick used by blind people and led into a completely dark place - you can't see anything in there, open eyes or not. You can rely only on ears, and touch. And it imitates various stuff - park, streets, and as cherry on top, crossing the pedestrian walk and buying drinks at bar (yes, actually buying, and you have to use the imprints on bank notes for the blind to distinguish between them). And no cheating and using a flashlight.
Let's just say it's very unsettling and made me apreciate my imperfect vision. So to hear what Mika did... why. Just why.

Honestly, I think she was color blind at birth but it isn't that bad. I doubt staring at her light bulb and reading in the dark "sideways" is enough to cause damage to her cones and even if it did, she'll go blind. She's prolly one of those people who were born color blind and just found out later in life (like late teens to early-mid 20s) with how unnoticeable it was for them and other people so I guess chat being their normal self did Mika a favor
