A shocking Grammy win paired with the albumā€™s universal acclaim, The Suburbs placed plenty of eyes, ears and raised expectations on Arcade Fire moving forward. The Suburbs was a decade-defining release, but I believe their album that followed, to be artist-defining. At the peak of Arcade Fireā€™s success, they would venture from their award-winning sound to release their most ambitious project to date. Reflektor is Arcade Fireā€™s greatest sonic evolution. A double LP that sees them break away from their indie rock template towards an exotic, alternative dance record.

I never understood why so many people seem to dismiss this one in Arcade Fireā€™s Discog, I enjoyed it from front to back and still do, such a unique and fascinating experience

Reflektor is the epitome of a concept album for me. Incredible production, great tunes, all the themes interwoven throughout the record, and absolute bangers like Afterlife, It's Never Over, and the title track. Pure genius.

Reflektor makes me cry... Not just once, but every time if I really focus on it. The climax is just wave after wave after wave of goosebumps. Submit your senses to the groove, and you will be rewarded.

This is my favorite album of all time. For the last couple of months Iā€™ve been working on a line by line lyrical analysis and essay about Reflektor. Hearing you talk about the very ideas Iā€™ve been studying for so long has me geeking out.

Ive always loved this album. Alot of people find Arcade Fire to be pretentious or just maybe to criticial of society (Everything Now) but I'm here for it. Suburbs is as critical as anything else and that was an amazing album too
