48:55 "It's been the best three days of my life." Oh my goodness, this was a special one. Very touching when they gave her the illustration of Henry and read the poem.

How cool that one grave could lead to a small town becoming so important to pre Christian Saxon Archaeology. It was very nice that they provided Pat a picture of her Henry.

Best TT EVER! So touching. So real. They brought the people to life again. How wonderful. And the couple, especially the woman, was so invested in "Henry" and wept for him. I wept too. Lovely. πŸ’– πŸ’– πŸ’–

One of my favourite TT episodes ever! 🧑 Pat's appreciation for and application of all she learned from Phil and the Team; her labour of love so amply rewarded. Dear Henry, found to be such a special man; his very essence captured by the incomparable Victor's sensitive drawing. 🩡 And the young woman, buried with her dog at her feet.. 🩷 Such a rewarding dig, and not only scientific but emotionally invested and enriching for viewers. Thank you. πŸ™

Well, wouldn't you know it - when Tony announced the young lady had been laid to rest with a pup at her feet, somebody snuck in here and started chopping onions...! Such a lovely installment and heartwarming to see the reconstruction portrait done for Pat of her "Henry." Nicely done, one and all!

Wow! This might just be my favorite find yet! I loved the recreation of Henry to gift his finder. The young woman & her dog was sadly sweet. I'd liked to have heard more about the child found too but the rest was pretty amazing!

It would be interesting if Henry had any descendants within a 10 mile radius still in the area.

Wonderful episode with a great story of discovery. I think its great that a fan of the show paid attention to how the team operates, with care and conservation. She applied what she learned and the care allowed so much more to be learned about "Henry". Finding other graves was a bonus. I'd like to see that medieval plow that dug so deep, and the oxen that pulled the thing. Plowing soil is the hardest function in the field for stress on the equipment involved. 5 Stars

So I'm not the only Time Team fan who would drag my trowel sideways because Phil Harding does. Love this❀

Amazing! I was deeply moved. It was almost like a time machine going way back into our past. I feel like we were able to see what life was like 1500 years ago.
