This show has me ADDICTED! I love the enthusiasm, the well done research, the respect for the finds and the area. I also love that thereā€™s no ā€œdramaā€ added in with campy ā€œaccidentsā€ and stuff. Itā€™s real, and itā€™s so much fun to watch!

I love how they both educate and involve the local communities where they are digging at.

What I like most about this show is how they use the digs to educate and uplift the local communities.

The worst medieval pub I stayed in was called 'The Fiddle'... It was a vile inn.

The look of those children when Baldrick and that mountain troll told them about bathing šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ priceless!

I love seeing Guy explaining Roman finds to children. He explains things in the simplest way for them to understand without making it childish.

You guys do fantastic work. Too bad it's only for 3 days. But your work has revealed in the media that still have much to discover. Without forgetting that this programme of yours has brought many enthusiasts and perhaps future archaeologists. About that I have no doubt... keep it up.

12:00 Failed to do the hydrology yet again. The bathhouse had to have a water source. The copse is growing well indicating there may be an underground water source, as everything else looks dryish..

i just happened to watch this one, do enjoy your programs..... when i watch programs about places i often look them up on google earth to see the place better when y'all talk about them..... interesting on a lot of them including this one from the view you get on google earth i am able to see the arial view that you use.... just to the south west of when you found things in the trees i could see what was the outline of a large building or something.... different from where y'all were looking?? but neat to find and see things using this program from the sky.....
