This one moved me at the end. I'm not from the UK and I came to these through YouTube but I have fallen in love with the whole team. This show really has been one of the best "reality" programs ever, imo. The reason is that, from what I can see, the whole team makes a genuine effort to show the real process. The thought, study, expertise and care that archaeologists practice in their daily jobs. It's kind of moving when I think about it. An honest picture of the lives of the peoples who lived there starts to emerge by the end. The whole team should take great pride in making exciting and genuinely educational content.

How wonderful to have a new episode. I have rewatched the old series over and over. I am in America and first found Time Team during the first Covid isolation. I miss the old team but appreciate the new team and they are growing in adding some of the camerodity of the old team which made it so loved. GO TIME TEAM! Well done. Nice to see that a previous excavation has new discoveries.ā¤ā¤ā¤

In regards to the difficulty of relocating the original excavation - I did archaeology in central California for almost 20 years, and it was our standard practice to put in some readily identifiable and relocatable āartifactsā before re-filling the excavation, for example, an aluminum soft-drink can at each corner of a unit. This would make it easier to determine later where our units had been, if we dug at the site later, and alert future archaeologists to the fact that this area had been previously disturbed.

We LOVE Time Team, esp. the original decades -- wish it could have gone on forever as it was, but I'm glad that it's still with us, despite the loss of very much loved archaeologists -- so happy to get to see Helen Geake and Stewart Ainsworth, John Gater, Carenza Lewis and Matt, and other veterans of the first wonderful T T series. I am also happy to see new, updated technology, which surely must make life easier for all! Everyone worked very hard on that series. I hope they're pleased to know that they've been watched, and greatly enjoyed, by people around the world, Bravo to you all!
