I think the instrumentals and especially the break are my favourite. ever. It’s just so like, confused in a good way as all the instruments, especially as the higher guitar plays on top, kind of stumbles a bit and ramps up like it’s all falling apart, which very much fits the crumbling relationship/feeling of unease that the narrative of the song has. Always replay it at least once when I get to it. very tasty noises, <3 <3

i like this song a lot
as someone who is very traumatized, i see it as a partner who does love you, but you feel betrayed at times or insecure/worried that their love is conditional. it's an imperfect relationship. sometimes you get hurt, but at the end, he hugs you, because he does love you.
I also have had nightmares about my partner that I don't think reflect him.
I do think this song was about a dream too
