Hold up. Is Yuki’s mum one of the heads of hell? Yuki has a similar tail to her mum and in gym class one of the kids said something like “copying one of the heads of hell” when insulting her tail.
THEORY: if Yuki doesn’t manage to rank up in time her mum could swoop in and save her because if she’s one of the “heads” of hell, then she must have some control over the rules!
