The production value on this video is crazy! Even Spirit of the Law videos don't look as good as this, and he's probably highest effort AoE 2 content creator afaik (apart from maybe Among the Hidden, but his channel hasn't been active for a long time). 😮

Haven't played AOE2 for some time, mostly just dabble with AOE4. But I do appreciate the trips down memory lane, so will always watch these!

Absolutely top notch content, holy moly. I liked the intro but the ending didn't really do anything for me and I don't think many people will stick around that long if they're not interested in AoE2 content already. If YT still enforces the minimum 10 minutes for ads to play, an alternative would be to expand the Bad Matchups section with specific civs or perhaps even suggest competitive games/players for people interested in the civ to watch. Either way, great stuff <3

I think some of us will just watch one or the other tbh, I don't see myself watching aoe4 content but I'll catch every aoe2 video you put out. Incredible video though, complete top tier in terms of aoe2 content. Would love to see more like this!

Question to the Age of Noob community. As you know, there are both AoE2 and AoE4 viewers amongst us. I mentioned a while back that I am committed to covering both games, and this has not changed. That said, I want to ideally want to make it worth your time to watch videos regardless of which game is covered. One way that I am experimenting with now is upping the quality again - especially with the added custom visuals and a civilization-specific story covered at the end. This comes at a significant time and money cost for me. Hence, are these improvements enough to keep you engaged on a game you normally don't consume content for? If the answer is yes, then it may be worthwhile investing more time per video to keep everyone engaged. If not, then getting videos out quicker might serve our split audience better. (i.e. viewers would skip the video of the game you're not interested). Again, it would be fantastic if I could create content engaging enough for viewers to watch the videos regardless of which game they play. It's proving to be tougher than expected, so your input is appreciated. As always, thank you for stopping by. <3
