I know I’m late for the live comments but it would be really awesome Ian if you could teach us how to transition from scarlet to fire. Obviously the dead were great at pairing songs without stopping, but most intermediate/beginner players would have no idea how to do it. Well at least I don’t believe most can. Anyway thought that would be really cool. You’re really cool man. Appreciate what you do for your community.

Thanks for your response, I was wondering what you thought of my guitars everone knows about the strat but the burns was a mystery to me but I must say that I bought it for its looks, gold hardware and a blue trans colour now i own one i really like the sound and the way it playes but I never see many people play them. I would appreciate your comments good or bad

Hi Ian, I bought the accompanying Scarlet Begonias crib sheet that you put together (great incidentally), but I am stuck on one part of the chords used in the rhythm. At the very start, it sounds like you are on the E for two bars and then the B for Two bars. Is that correct? I have now seen it with one bar of E and three bars of B. Some even include an A in that first four bars. I guess the end part is complicated because the riff plays there, but can you please give me a hint regarding that timing. I am rhythmically challenged, so I could really use the advice.
