I am an Airbnb host in Madeira Island, and when the pandemic started, I just welcomed a guest from Russia that was 71 years old. She lived in the USA in NY City. Madeira's Government told us that they would close the airport for undetermined period of time and suggested us to ask all of our guests to leave the island coz they did not know when the airport would reopen. She was very afraid of going home and getting infected on her way to New York. The result was: I spend 6 months with a brilliant woman that had a great life story, in my flat. Our time together was incredibly beautiful and both of us were very grateful for Airbnb for ur connection. I made many good friends that came to my place as Airbnb guests! I just love Airbnb to host and to use it as a guest too! Thank you, Brian!!!

I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

I used to like Airbnb when it was just some homeowner wanting to rent out their home bc they're they're not using anymore, but when you have whole corporations buying up affordable housing and turning it into Airbnb and putting people out on the street that's when it became disgusting.
Secondly I'm asking myself why am I listening to this man's story of woe, when there are many people on the street because of him you got to be kidding me with this.🙄😵💫

This is in my top 5 DOAC...and I' ve watched several. Brian Chesky IS a masterclass in empathy, innovation and leadership. I traveled a lot during the pandemic and stayed at many Airbnbs- some good, some great, some not so good. For several reasons, I switched to hotels for a bit. After listening to Bryan here, I'm scouring the internet to learn more from him. Kudos! My next stay will be Airbnb. 😊

What an incredible interview, I had chills when he speaking. He explained so well what it means to have all the money in the world and still feel empty. We’ve heard so many times, it’s about family, friends, spending time with loved ones, that’s the real prize but I don’t think people really believe it. When he spoke about it, I believed him.

Im baffled to realise i almost skipped this video, because it was labeled "Airbnb" and didnt think it would be specifically interesting to me. Never could i have thought there was a message so heart warming and touching to get from it. Made me cry. Also made me understand what things are important in life, as do many of your podcasts Steven. Thank you.

One of my favourite interviews on this podcast so far! Something that stood out to me was his ability to communicate his vision so clearly & what his hopes/expectations were. Having a leader that is able to paint the picture for you and communicate that in a way that is easily understood makes your life so much easier as you know EXACTLY what you are aiming for. He is also incredibly motivational, that positive outlook and belief is infectious.
