It is so unfortunate to see both countries at odd after more than seventy five years of independence. I live in US and see Indians and Pakistanis living, working, and supporting each others side by side. I hope to visit India one day especially to my mother and father's ancestral towns.

Always enjoy your food reviews Karl! Had no idea there were inexpensive places anywhere in Dubai. Your videos are even better when you have your wife Manisha along as well. It's great to get her ideas on whatever the subject is in the video, plus it's fun when she zings you. Haha. I haven't tried Pakistani food yet, but I'll start looking for places here in the Dallas area. Shouldn't be too hard as there are plenty of great American versions of Indian food....I've never been to India, but my Aunt dated a chef who was from New Delhi and for a few weeks while I was living with them....WOW! He can COOK! Sadly, they aren't together anymore.

This place brings back so many memories! I spent my childhood here, from catching the school bus to cycling to my tuition, and more. At the very beginning of the video, that blurred building on the left? That's where I used to live! Huge thanks to Karl Rock for shining a light on this special area. It means a lot! โค๏ธ

Have you tried Pakistani flavours before? What'd you think? If you want to see real Pakistan food, I went to Lahore to try it https://youtu.be/HdHIYJr_RUU. Or see Manisha in Pakistan https://youtu.be/WvnjZMXb5dE. Here's the massage card video I was talking about at the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTyHOa5rrgI.
