Here's part two of finding a musician's most popular song and deciding whether or not it's actually good. In addition, we'll go through with a criteria of how good the song is on its own without context, whether or not it represents the artist at hand, and if that track could be one of their very best. We're discussing the following musicians: Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Coldplay, Drake, Bon Iver, Jay-Z, Nirvana, Weezer, Gorillaz, Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, Sza, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, and Beabadoobee.

I think Kill Bill has already became SZA's biggest song

It sucks that Viva la Vida can never be claimed as Coldplay's biggest song anymore or else it would be the prime example of a track being insanely popular while simultaneously demanding such high universal praise the likes of which I've never seen before.

While I don’t think Teen Spirit is their best song, it’s VERY representative of Nirvana and just because it’s popular shouldn’t take away from how perfect a song it is

Empire State of Mind will forever be a 10/10 song for me. Everything about it is just so perfect.

I'd be curious to see a part 3 with The Killers, Oasis, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Arctic Monkeys

I really wish beabadoobee would get more recognition for HER music because she has such a cool sound and dabbles in several genres and to think most people only heard her voice on that god awful coffee sample song is so sad

I believe "Something Just Like This" is just a Chainsmokers song featuring Chris Martin. Same thing can be say for "A Sky Full of Stars", which I like but it's Avicii's rather than Coldplay's song.

Funny that you sort of compared Beabadoobee and TS because Bea is opening for Taylor in a few cities on her tour so maybe Swifties will rightfully propel Bea into stardom 😁

Now for “Something just like this” case, it’s not really much about the band and more so about Chris Martin singing on a Chainsmokers song, so I believe it doesn’t represent them at all 💀 also, I think Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” is imo the bigger hit and is the much better song overall. Also, Daft Punk in my eyes is kinda like Weezer, for me it’s hard to tell which of their hits is their most popular and their best, because ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT. For me it would be between “One More Time” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” But Get Lucky was a good choice. Once again, great video! ❤

I'd arguably say that Yellow is Coldplays biggest track, SJLT is a big radio hit sure but Yellow is iconic

I think is fair to say Viva la Vida is also Coldplay’s biggest song. Which imo is a perfect song. Great lyrics with one of the most interesting and creative melodies in popular music.

You're so right about Coldplay. They started off really strong and peaked at Viva La Vida (album). They made a couple good records after that but now they're just generic edm pop.

I wouldn't have put Something Just Like This as Coldplay's biggest song, would've definitely put Yellow, more people know that. And that'd got much better scoring

tyler's biggest song is probably see you again or earfquake, which makes sense. they're both very anthemic pop songs (I mean earfquake was literally made for justin bieber) that still manage to be avant garde. It's crazy that he's considered a rapper when he's most known for his pop songs such as the two mentioned, 911 and wusyaname.
