The issue when Tycho got shot and killed on the first turn. Was the first white dwarf I ever bought.

There was an Imperial Guard mini for Solar Macarius who was already dead in lore given when his eponymous crusade happened. In the Ultramarines codex, Captain Invictus was the 1st company captain who died during Behemoth but never had an official miniature.

I long ago fell to the Plastic Rage with close to 40 years in the hobby. Glad to see you covering some of the older characters and Tycho is on of my favorite Blood Angels. Can't wait to see your take on Armageddon!

I started following Warhammer 40k sometime in the last year and I luckily came across Tycho in Dawn of War Unification Mod
Always had admiration for the sons of Sanguinius so his gear and half mask had me intrigued about him. It was nice to put some lore behind the character, thank you for another great video.

I never got to play, but I have been a fan of the setting for about the last decade and a half. I knew of Captain Tycho, nothing of his death or this story. Thank you very much.

I played in the 3rd war of Armageddon campaign at Lenton that year. When it was announced that Tycho had fallen and he was the first big character death of any released miniature GW had done the hall went silent to the shock of everyone including the staff. They really should kill off more and pave the way for others to come through.

As a Blood Angel player I loved this blurb so, so much. It showed so nicely that the Blood Angels arent space vampires but tragic flawed heroes whoo will eventually all either succumb in battle or fall to the rage. Ofcourse people still kept making the same old jokes but the people who knew their lore knew otherwise.
Havent played in years. Dont recognize 40k anymore these days. Such a waste :(

Great reading and love the way Tycho fell he was a bright light for the Angels and lost to the curse. A reminder that even the most noble and honorable hero can fall.
