The yearning in this song is subtle but it’s there. It’s kind of a cry for memories of a person that isn’t worth it anymore. I don’t know how else to describe it. But every time I listen to it I think of memories with her. Memories like the facetimes, me singing to her, every conversation we had that lifted my spirits and made me feel alive. Sometimes though it’s too good to be true. And you have to part ways. That’s life I guess.
