In this song, I really like how it goes from frustrated and loud to tentative and soft, just like how it is in real life. It's like you're muffling your feelings and suffering silently in the pits of screams inside you around the other person. I'm dealing with this right now. I love her, I told her, but it's not the same for her. She's super affectionate, so it makes it worse. I don't want her to stop but it hurts at the same time.
