That third take was fucking mental. Those fills were so crisp and that tom bridge was absolutely sublime. It's not often you get a drummer going harder than the original on a metal song haha

One of the most impressive performances I've heard on Drumeo. Nothing but respect for this man. before today I had never heard of him, but now I am convinced he's one of the best. You don't see many people his age playing like that, and especially not with only given one chance to listen to it and then getting thrown into the deep end. He has the energy of a 20 year old and the knowledge of a 70 year old, that's a master at work.

73 years old, and he still hits just as hard as he did in his prime. Liberty has been a hero since my early childhood. To see him playing along to a song off of a very important and personal record from my youth is truly a full circle moment. It genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

I think this is my favorite take on a song out of all of these. He understood the energy of the song and made it more technical, but didn't take up all the space as if the whole song was a drum solo like some drummers do when they get the spotlight. And even so he was so humble. Can't believe he lost sleep over this and then just nailed it like he had played this style of music his whole life!
