You should move your gold storage down to the basement
And maybe build a Guard room just next to the stairs. So they can get up fast and so you have to 2 guard rooms close by (;
And you can have more. And Maybe have sleeping and dinner rooms too down there + More WC's haha on the upper level
And you could move some of the rooms down/up too. Like traning rooms.

One thing you can do, along all the 4 wide hallways replace the outer squares with the Dormitory block, and you can have lockers down the hallways since the minions dont need to interact with them and have more room for Rooms of stuff you need

When i played hard mode i had a dedicated sleeping qauters and diner next to the cover operation for deception minions, it makes them more effective especially late game so they dont have to walk though the trap maze. Keep up the series i loved evil genuis 1 and 2 and its nice watching someone who plays very similar to me !

Ever think about a trap corridor off of the casino that will go nowhere? Might help delay the soldiers a little before they hit your base proper, and make it easier for the guards and mercenaries to deal with them

I started a playthrough after finding your series on my feed. it's nice to be back and I'm happy about the bug fixes but it's a shame the micro transaction policy stifled the growth of content.
For this playthrough i did a a couple of things different; I sped through research with minimal base til I got stairs then moved all my rooms to other floors and transformed my main floor into a winding labyrinth to trap all Intruder action on one floor. Since there is no penalty for moving a room. I also opted to grind for a big vault and save a hefty warchest before I made major expansions starting with my power room.
One thing I'm not particularly proud of is that I event-gated the campaign by not starting the Engineer side quest until I fully flushed out my floors to prevent my stuff from breaking down and having harder enemies start to appear.
Thanks for the series, i hope you consider playing the other evil geniuses/levels

Have you considered multiple security rooms to respond to threats more locally with appropriate levels of force? Also, do security rooms raise suspicion? I would think security would be standard in a casino.
