Secret of Evermore is still one of my favorite games ever. I just love it, especially on a cold winter day cozy'd up inside for an afternoon or 2 or 3 and going through it. Great game.

Y's is a French word did you know? It's about a legendary city washed into the ocean. Kind of the French Atlantis.

12:54 "Unfortunately this one [SD3] never left Japan officially..." ...until now! Trials of Mana, both an official localized port of the original, and a remake in the works set for release next year.

Secret of Evermore is probably one of my favorite games on the SNES; it's just so unique and has such amazing zones, music, and gameplay.

I loooove secret of evermore. I've replayed it so many times. It is quite extensive and original. Would love a sequel.

@SNES drunk You know, Secret of Mana has a gameplay improvement patch which allows you to assign spells to four hotkeys (A, B, X, and Y) which lets you cast spells in real-time without pausing the game. It's simply called the "gameplay improvement patch" if you're interested.

Late to the party, but good to see Secret of Evermore getting some love. Yeah, it's a bit of a technical mess, but it's so unique!

Secret of Evermore is still my favorite action RPG after all these years. The alchemy system, dog, soundtrack, and story all just blended together so well. I actually loved the flea market portion of the game and the occasional hiccups in hit detection didn't bother me much.

One thing i really appreciate about your videos is the way you cut to black at the end so the video links don't block the game-play footage, its a small thing, but it bugs me so much when other videos don't do it. Nice job.
