To all men, we know it’s not all men. But it’s enough for it to be all women.

"If you tell the truth, they say his life is ruined." It breaks my heart because people who suffer are dissuaded from telling the truth because of the consequences of their actions... It's disgusting

im a man and i just found your music, it's amazing, almost cried from the lyrics, considering how important the message is, and how powerful this song is. it's important to not be quiet about this shit, do NOT be silenced. whether you are man, woman or other, always speak up, always seek help, its impossibly difficult, but when you do, you'll know that you gave it your all. im 24 and ive been with my girlfriend for +9 years, and she is everything to me. unfortunately she's been through more shit than most people will ever even experience in their whole lifetime, and that's why this song gets to me. because it breaks my heart knowing everything she's been through, and that she still goes through, each and every day. I truly hope things will change, because it is insane the shit that men do and slip by without any fucking consequences. alot of men ive known when i was younger used to say "oh women have more rights than us now, and they still want more more more" and all I can say is, NO. women simply want to LIVE without fearing for their lives. EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. DAY.

To other survivors, from a survivor: No matter your age. No matter your gender. No matter the clothes you wore. No matter what people say. You. Are. Not. At. Fault. If you relate to this song, I'm sorry you had to go through that. But more importantly... share your story and lift our fellow survivors up. Sharing your story is the best thing you can do. I'm not forcing you to, especially if it's still been far too recent. But if you can and want to, do it. It inspires others to speak up against this world's abuse. My story has been shared enough, so I'm here to tell you to share yours. You're worth fighting for, I promise. And we will stand by you.

Oh my god. My entire body erupted in goosebumps while listening to this. I’ve never been so quick to show the people in my life a song before. You, my love, are going to change the world with your music one day. Please, never give up. We need women like you standing up for all women. Thank you.

My Mom told me that she didn't understand why the #MeToo movement got so big. I'm going to play this video for her. The first line about walking after midnight made me think about the fact that that flies in the face of the "How not to get raped" training that all girls are given by female relatives. Most men have probably never had the experience of seeing a woman walking towards them and pray that she didn't mean him any harm. Another good song is "What It's Like To Be a Girl" by Emilene.

I am crying looking at my daughter sleeping so innocent and peacfully. I was 7 and when I told my dad he told me I am a liar. I will always believe her no matter what. Never told my mom because of what my dad said to me that day. Listening to this makes me believe she felt the same aa I do at some point in her life.

“We say no but they still hear yes” is heartbreaking. That’s exactly how they think, they assume we’re playing because we’re uncomfortable. This song makes me tear up 😣

Molested at thirteen, but I typically just say I've been sexually assaulted before. Most of the time I get caring responses from fellow women... but the amount of times people ask "What were you wearing?" Infuritates me. I was wearing a tank top and pajama bottoms, because not only was I supposed to be asleep but I didn't think I'd have to worry about my late sixties great-uncle finding my still developing tits too alluring to handle. When I say men disgust me, I don't mean all men, honest. My brother is my best friend, my grandpa is my savior, some of my closest friends have been guys. When I say all men scare me? I mean every single man.

This is literally the most relatable song I have ever heard! There is so much violence that happens against women (both physical and not), so much that every women has experienced it, but it’s still just Ignored and disregarded by society, saying ‘It’s not all men’. Thank you soo so much for writing this and sharing this! This is soo important!!! ❤️❤️

I don't think this song will ever fail to make me start crying. The people who don't already get it still won't, but the rest of us feel more seen aand less alone. Simply, thank you.

The fact that every woman hearing this has shared the same experience is why this is so important.

This is a gorgeous song with strong vocal emotion behind every word. Being the only guy in my house growing up, I had more of an awareness to how dangerous it is for women and how careful they have to be while it never crosses most guys minds. I almost couldn't listen to the entire song because one of my biggest fears is something happening to one of my sisters or to my mother. I can't bear the thought of it. Guys, if a woman ever asks you to accompany them to their car house or anywhere especially at night please please do. It decreases the chances of something happening to them. Please stop the thought process of women saying all men do this, because that is not the case. The reason it is so important is because statistically 1 in 3 women will experience sexual assault or worse in their lifetime. Help protect and support. Don't be defensive and stonewall. We need to be more understanding, cooperative, and work on collaboration more. This is one step we need to work on to achieve that goal.
