This album is a masterpiece! Takes you on a journey in the lives of these characters & makes you want to know more. The musicianship sets the tone of the storyline in a way like no other album I have heard before. The vocals are addicting to sing along to & paint the picture of this family perfectly. My favorite album of the year-hands down! Oh, & I have a set of those chairs that Wesley is sitting on - minus the fur—-handed down in my family & are over 100 yrs. old. I thought it was fitting to mention, since your music reminds me of older times while also being completely current. Weird analogy, I know. Ha ha.

Lumineers never fails to astonish me. They create something beautiful and touching, and most importantly honest. I really loved how Wes described music as well. x

I truly can not begin to explain the way this album saved me. I have seen you guys live 3 times live and I held up a sign saying "Your music saved my life." While this may sound dramatic, I truly believe it. I grew up in a family that struggled with addiction I related heavily to Leader of The Landslide. Whenever Wes talks about this song's meaning, I get emotional. Specifically in this video, he talks about the anxiety a child feels when they realize that they have the pressure of trying to stop the cycle of addiction and wanting to escape from all of it yet also being just so hurt. It truly is so accurate and I am so thankful this album exists. I love you guys thank you.

5:45 wow I always assumed the 'Your mother never was one' referred to the previous line 'Your husband loved his computers' viewing computers as a perfect machine that does no mistakes and Donna was kind of the opposite so she was never one. How wrong I was

Watching you guys live. Finally in my life. Then coming back home in south korea and watching a small documentary about a new album. This whole emotion is very weird but very pleasant. Before I saw live in real life even just seeing any videos starring you guys made me feel I know you and friend of you. But now it feels much closer and heart warming. I appreciate your music and your thoughts and your existence. This is one of the things that are continuing my life.

I wish I could talk to them, my life is a tragedy, my husband passed away in February 2020 and my son passed away in may 2020, I have really indulged myself in their music. It has helped me so very much 😢
