5:18 LOTR nerd here. The Eagles were part of a powerful ‘arch angel’s’ domain. The angels forbidden to interfere in any meaningful way, so sent representatives to intervene diplomatically. These were the 5 wizards, of which only Gandalf didn’t go rogue or abandon his mission. Also, Mordor had an airforce. Fellbeasts, bats, birds and in some drafts, small dragons. The Eagles were not able to safely fly into Mordor, where the air is poisoned, the sky black with volcanic soot and the weather a constant thunderstorm. Not without being attacked by the locals and risk losing the Ring.

A blanket, bed, rain, and a six hour Jacksepticeye video about killing horrid monstrosities. Heaven.

Jack you forgot to mention the absolutely heartbreaking fact that sif not only recognizes you, but she also recognizes you as the person that SAVED her and she doesn't want to fight you but follows her duty. It makes me cry every time lmao

I remember the first time I fought Gwyn I was stunned by just how melancholic his theme song is. It's literally the collective sadness of a dying world that can't really be saved, only prolonged. FromSoft nailed it

I've come to the realization that the reason I love series like these (Dark Souls, God of War, Any game with lots of walking around) is I get to listen to Jack talk about the things he's playing and his life and just the deepest thoughts within his mind. I miss listening to Jack talk about how stock sounds effects and things like that. Please do more series like this (Including Dark Souls 2 I love that game)

I’ve no idea what’s going on story wise but I’m enjoying watching Sean enjoy himself and that’s all that matters

I've watched this single video for two weeks in bite-sized chunks during my dinner It was a lot of fun, and a lot of nostalgia. Thank you for both of those.

Over time I've realized this is exactly the type of content that I'm happy to consume, not because an infinite scroll is trapping me, but because I heckin want to watch it!

i keep coming back to this video (and the other souls vids you've done). it just brings me immeasurable happiness to see you play these. thank you for your hard work on these videos, it is so so appreciated

Sean keeps saying that he's probably just explaining Dark Soul things to Dark Soul players, but yes there are a lot too that haven't played nor seen the game, like me. It's also nice to learn about another game from a genre I haven't touched, and you explaining the game just shows how much you love it, it's nice watching someone talk about something they love.

Thank you so much for doing these playthroughs! Watching your original Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 runs back in the day is what got me into FromSoft. I've played each Dark Souls and Elden Ring at least five times each! Please keep doing what you love to do, it shows in your videos, and is an absolutely fun journey experiencing the SoulsBorne games with you.
