I’ve met this guy, and he’s genuinely the best person I’ve ever met. He has short dark hair and eyes I could get lost in. It all started with a few glances, the glances turned into gazes at one another. Our eyes would meet and send a wave of something, something wonderful, though me. His smile is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. his soft eyes would reflect my own, and the small smile he would give me when our eyes met took my breath away. I have a crush on this guy, we have 5/7 periods together, I like to subtly hint my love for him because I have told him about my feelings, and he was understanding about it (I believe him to be bi-curious/questioning), sometimes I feel like he looks at me in 3rd period, and after winter break for the first day back, he decided to sit next to me, I think he missed me because he already has his own seat but still sat with me. I got out of a VERY toxic relationship about 5 months or so, I’m going on a date with one of my friends who I have recently started to see differently. It’s so strange, he is the first crush I’ve had where I’ve felt such calmness around. Other crushes I’ve had in the past made me a flustered mess, which don’t get me wrong the butterflies be doing their job, but just holding his hand feels so right and peaceful. Like my mind finally goes quiet and I can enjoy the moment I’m in.
He is also the ONLY person that has snapped me out of a panic attack. Happened just a few days ago. I have ptsd to loud noises, specifically screaming. We were doing this escape room with a few friends and there was this huge scream over the intercom (someone was getting murdered lmao.) Though in the moment I started getting a flashback, which I won’t tell the details of, but he noticed I was started to freak out. He gave me the tightest hug, scratched my head where he kinda played with my hair, and just kept saying I’m going to be okay. It took a little bit for me to snap out of it, but once I did I felt so warm and actually somewhat okay. I was still definitely shaken up, but I wasn’t crying on the floor, which is a huge win.
Plus about a week go I went to his softball game and I saw two ravens flying together. I’m not religious, but I am very spiritual. For those who don’t know: two ravens flying together means a start of a life long friendship or the beginning of a long lasting relationship. A lot of people have even said they saw two ravens flying together when they met their wife/husband. So that is for sure a green flag for me.
This guy also makes me feel seen. Which my past relationship, the last guy didn’t put any effort. I was kinda trained into thinking that was normal. (Was with him for 2 years.) But with this guy he puts in so much effort that I appreciate so much. I feel cared for in a way I never had before.

I met this boy two years ago. He is a stubborn shithead with ADHD, and he is such a sunshine. He has so many energy it's insane. He's strong too, muscles from training and taekwondo. He's roughly the same height as me, but if you were to meet us, he'd argue that he's taller by an inch (he's lying). He has these pretty brown eyes and short raven hair that I like tangling my fingers with.
Our friendship started out rocky; he was the typical athlete jock, and I was the quiet nerd, and when he first approached me, I knew that he just wanted help with academics. At first, he treated me like how he treats his guy friends; all crude, sexual jokes, basically being a boy with his other boy friends, except he's aware that I'm bisexual and tones it down a bit.
But then something shifted when we started getting closer. His hugs and touches turned into something more personal and soft, and in turn, I got comfortable with touching him as well. He started chatting me up just because he wanted to. He started accompanying me anywhere, worrying about me every time me and our friends were out and I had to walk home alone. Every time we were at a mall, we were always the ones close to each other. And then he did something drastic one day; he grabbed my hand and dragged me through the school hallway without care about other people, then kissed me when we reached my classroom. After that, he just smirked and left, telling me to text him so he could accompany me home after school ends, then leaving me a blushing mess with my classmates all cheering in the background.
We've been dating for 5 months now, and he's the sweetest little shit. I love him, and some day, I'll finally gather the courage to say that to him.
