Sobbing my heart out till “obeying traffic laws in GTA5” it may be stupid but that little sentence made me giggle through the tears. I always did obey the traffic laws in that game and it brought me back to a moment I was happy. This song really touches my soul in a special way. I’m not doing so well mentally right now, on the brink of giving up but at least Bo can still put a little smile on my face even if it is just for a second and in the middle of tears. Thank you, Bo.

I like that he says he can’t play guitar or sing, then goes off with this amazing song

lyrics for people who want them: I can't really, uh, play the guitar very well, um, or sing So you know, apologies Stunning 8K-resolution meditation app In honor of the revolution, it's half-off at the Gap Deadpool's self-awareness, loving parents, harmless fun The backlash to the backlash to the thing that's just begun There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling The surgeon general's pop-up shop, Robert Iger's face Discount Etsy agitprop, Bugles' take on race Female Colonel Sanders, easy answers, civil war The whole world at your fingertips, the ocean at your door The live-action Lion King, the Pepsi Halftime Show Twenty-thousand years of this, seven more to go Carpool Karaoke, Steve Aoki, Logan Paul A gift shop at the gun range, a mass shooting at the mall There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling Reading Pornhub's terms of service, going for a drive And obeying all the traffic laws in Grand Theft Auto V Full agoraphobic, losing focus, cover blown A book on getting better hand-delivered by a drone Total disassociation, fully out your mind Googling "derealization", hating what you find That unapparent summer air in early fall The quiet comprehending of the ending of it all There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling There it is again, that funny feeling That funny feeling Hey, what can you say? We were overdue But it'll be over soon, you wait Hey, what can you say? We were overdue But it'll be over soon, just wait Ba-da-da, ba-da-da, ba-da-da-da-dum Hey, what can you say? Imagine being painfully self aware but also others aware and everything aware. Ignorance is bliss and knowledge is hell on earth.

Wow. Bo really put his heart and soul into some of the later songs in this special. What an interesting song this one is. It’s not instrumentally or vocally grand by any respect, it’s quiet and Bo’s voice sounds almost broken and deceased of all major emotion. This song hits you from an emotional standpoint, and it hits HARD. A majority of the song is Bo listing a lot of the things that our modern society consists of, but not in a cynically witty way, more so in a depressing way that tells you “is this really what we’ve turned into?” It almost goes hand-in-hand with Welcome to the Internet in that aspect and it does it just as well in my opinion. The guitar isn’t knock your socks off incredible, but it’s really soothing and perfect for the bleak, depressed undertone of this song. Bo does an incredible job vocally as well like usual. He keeps it at a minimum volume for the majority of the song until the end where he sort of pops it off a little, which fits as the lyrics are “it’ll be over soon, you wait.” There’s a lot of ways that this could be interpreted but the way Bo sings in this final section helps me think he meant it in a hopeful way. Whatever that may be. I’ll never get tired of this one its truly incredible. This song ranks #6 out of 32 in my personal ranking

Absolutely brilliant song. A sort of unfocused A-B rhyme just listing a bunch of seemingly disconnected thoughts, ideas, and concepts... but you immediately understand the vibe and theme. Humanity is just weird, man. Haha.

I always associated "that funny feeling" in this song with like peace. And I think the song is describing it as a "funny feeling" because it's just a trace amount. Hence all the ironic events described throughout. They're all something done happily or things that are fine, mixed with some corporate or modern twist. "Obeying all the traffic laws in Grand theft auto 5, the surgeon generals pop up shop, the Pepsi halftime show." Like all the things that used to be more "untouched" and just made us happy have been corrupted or bastardized by modern marketing and profit milking. "That funny feeling" is the faint remembrance of those activities before they were shilled and sold by companies. At least that's what I got from it

From time to time there is a song that i hear and think "ok, this is it. There is no song that can be written EVER hitting this particular feeling. Everything is said". This is one of them.
