Oooh, we are finally able to comment! I still listen to all Bo's songs on pretty much a daily basis. They are so well written! Inside was a complete masterpiece and a unique experience to watch. I have never been so emotionally influenced by a film/special/documentary before. Absolutely genius!

The beat drop and the music when "and i'm really fucking sorry" comes in, and the image of him being crucified gives me chills. I think about that scene alot. We're all just trying, and sometimes we're stupid and insensitive and it's okay. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, right?

Late post, but this song always takes me back to the 3rd grade. I was raised in a abusively strict household, was grounded for the entire school year (9 months) to my room. At 8 yrs old I spent my time counting spackle spots of paint on the wall and contemplating my existence. Excluded and neglected by my own family was traumatic at that age.
I love this song bc it reminds me where I came from. Just a young kid trying to find humor in my isolation. Hope you all are doing ok🙏

I'm not saying anything new here, but it truly is remarkable how he seems to be able to tap into so many different people's feelings at the same time. To feel like he is speaking directly about your life and then see men, women, children of all races and cultural backgrounds have that same raw, visceral emotional response to this special. It really is true that when you strip all of the bull shit away... the social media, the money, the fashion, the meaningless hobbies and entertainment, that we are all so similar on a basic level. The only problem is that we rarely ever had to operate on a base level until the pandemic. Then we were basically sat in front of a mirror for a year straight and told to be still.
