Obviously it wasnt just tiktok that gave them a lot of criticism and backlash, but it mostly started from IG and the aforementioned graveyard photos when a relative of the deceased whose headstone Oliver-Snow was sitting on called them out on. And they often refers to themself as THE character she's cosplaying as. they've been widely known for harassing and bullying people who cosplay the same character as them if and when that cosplayer gets more like/follows than them. They've sent people so many death threats simply over a hobby and they still haven't learned their lesson.

As someone with diagnosed DID for 10 years, it makes me feel weird because there is no way a system is made up of only fictives as they are quite rare. I do not want to insert myself into their medical history but I am 99% sure Snow isnāt a system and maybe just enjoys role playing. It also disgusts me how they wanted to plea insanity because they wanted to blame their āsystemā for killing someone

Yeah no. The moment when the report was released, we all know it was fucked up and cold hearted with her videos. The "do you want to hide a body" video was sickening. It send chills. And I remember no one defended Snow. We all know not to play with real weapons. And the tragic aftermath of what happened, just throws out the word "accident" all together.

They held a gun to their friends head and pulled the trigger. It doesnāt matter how sure you are that the weapon isnāt loaded that isnāt something you do if you donāt want to seriously harm or kill someone. Thatās basic gun safety. Iāve never held a gun in my life and I know that much

I remember seeing all of this unfold in real time. Iāve known of Snow for years, we were mutuals at one point in the Homestuck cosplay community but I ended up blocking them because of how frequently they would bully and attack other accounts publicly.
I never expected them to end up murdering someone, though. Itāsā¦ eerie to see a true crime video about them. My heart really goes out to Helen and her loved ones.

Ngl this type of thing seems like it could happen if someone was in any field. Someone being extremely reckless and irresponsible with a gun.
I feel like the whole yandere cosplay thing is Amped up because āa yandere cosplayer that actually killsā is kind of inherently going to bring in a reaction.

I went to high school with snow for a few years and they were a part of my friend group, though I tried to keep my distance bc I felt like being around them would be bad news. However, in high school, my friends who were closer with them have many stories of abuse and manipulation, and pretty much being used in any way possible in order to boost snowās ego and add to their clout. As someone who also attends conventions and cosplay events, I can guarantee you with all I have that cosplay isnāt supposed to be like this, itās just a fun way to express interest in shows or games or comics and that this isnāt normal.
I even have personal experiences of being around them and having them laugh at insecurities of mine and any sensitive topics I may have (ie. r*pe jokes, body shaming, r*cost comments to poc peers, etc). I feel so bad for Helen, and what they must have been going through being around this person for so long and my heart goes out to their family. That being said though, Iām not surprised that snow did something like this and responded in a way that was very dismissive and aloof, itās extremely sad to see.

The way Mary Anne Oliver handled the whole thing makes me think they have some disconnect with reality, they just never took the situation seriously for even a moment. Some would say because Mary was a monster, but that was their friend they killed, you'd think losing someone by your own hand would have an affect on Mary, they just went back to posting so quickly and the posts were pretty insensitive given what happened.
I'd be interested to know what verdict the court comes to.

Something my husband taught me... Never point a gun at someone or something you're not willing to kill and always treat a gun as loaded. Oh, and keep the hand off the trigger until you are ready to fire. Just passing along good advice.
