If you watched this movie, then you know that Brie Larson isn’t the problem with Captain Marvel, it’s the script. Brie Larson is an amazing actress

This scene is so much more emotional knowing how horribly their plan could have went. What if Jack wasn't able to roll out of the rug? What if he was buried alive? What if Old Nick went back to kill Ma after he realized they tricked him? She knew there was a possibility that any of those things could have happened, that she may never see her son again, but she still took the greatest risk to get them both out of there. It's so satisfying to see them reunited on the other side.

Joy’s face as she runs to the car was its own Oscar moment—authentic, like everything else in this movie. No pretty Hollywood weeping, no cliches, she looks like raw, unrestrained emotion.

have you noticed that in the start of the movie the room seems bigger? and when they comeback you see how tiny really is? or is it just me?

I actually thought this was the ending of the movie and I was confused because I wasn't aware of how much time had passed. Then I realized I was just on the halfway of the movie. I didn't notice because of how intense it was. And I'd thought at least everything seems to be fine now but I was taken aback on how it got more real after their escape. How this film especially Brie portrayed trauma, loathing and grief is one if the best elements of the film.

I don't know why they cut out Ma's response. Ma saying they were never going back was the was one of the best lines in the entire book.

Probably the most emotional scene I've ever watched in any film. First time I've cried watching a film since I was a kid. Brie and Jacob are tremendous actors.

This is the first time in seven years she's seen another person or felt the fresh air on her skin and all she can think about is her son 🥺🥺
