edit: Another bit of the patch notes that's worth talking about is where they mentioned a "revision" of the prices in the Arx store; note how vague they were about their wording, they don't mention what the changes are, and also how they say "But players can still earn Arx by playing." That's a clear indicator of them looking to inflate the prices...

Never minding any of the snark and sarcasm and "hypercritical"-ness...that wistful sadness at the end of the video, of Yamiks' realizing he's lost his fondness for what used to be a fun game...that hit hard. It really did.

After what was at the time (and still is now) 7k hours playtime, i quit Elite Dangerous at the release of Odyssey.
I never looked back and was ever proven correct to have done so.
I have good memories of my time in Elite, i quit at the correct time.
I cared for that game way more then F-Dev ever did.
What a waste of a fantastic game.
