As far as shaken baby syndrome, I am so glad you mentioned walking away. Hannah, I know the frustrations of unsolicited advice during pregnancy. But if I can leave you and any other new mom out there with one piece of advice, itās thisā¦
Absolutely walk away. Put your baby down and walk away. You are 1,000,000 % correct when you say that. Thankfully hubby and I never experienced shaken baby syndrome, however, my first daughter was quite colicky, for a good two weeks( I know thatās relatively short) I tried everything in my power and pulled out all the stops to calm her and nothing worked. My husband came home and saw how stressed I was. I was holding her, rocking her, trying to soothe her and we were both crying hard. He came and took her from my arms and put her in her crib and shut the door. And forced me to the other end of the house. I could still hear her crying and it was heart wrenching. My newborn baby needed me. She eventually fell asleep. Almost 25 years later and I thank God too this day that he did that. I donāt even want to think what may have happened. It turned out, I was over feeding her. As a brand new mom, everytime she cried I would feed her. Once I stopped doing that, and put her in a feeding schedule, her colic went away. Now she is about to graduate college and is engaged to be married. She was also Valedictorian of her High School graduating class

Nicely done PSA against shaking babies. Babies are uniquely frustrating at times. Our third (and final) was a screamer. Like, maybe he's in pain or maybe he just dropped his pacifier; either way, he'd scream like he was on fire. When he was in a bad mood, I used a pair of those protective earmuff things like you see construction workers or airport baggage handlers wear. I could still hear him and take care of him, but he wasn't hurting me anymore. Saved my sanity.

I am an accountant and I prepare 1099s. These are supposed to be done on a ācashā basis meaning only what has been paid out. You cannot report accrued income. If she does get paid out (hopefully) then those payments would be reflected on a 1099 the year they are actually paid. Sounds like they just have incorrect accounting practices (or theyāre shady).

I feel like the worst thing about the Bodi reel is that she focuses it on the kids' perspective. She doesn't say she wants to help women get their bodies back, she says she wants to help kids get their moms back. Which means that if you don't join her and therefore don't recover as quickly, that means you're doing your children a disservice. Way to sneakily lay on the mom guilt.

Young Living is seriously floundering. I wouldnāt be surprised if they are on the verge of going bankrupt. Savannah Marieās did some videos about Mary Young basically telling reps that they were going to have to increase prices and lower commissions. She pretty my much told them to āget over itā and that anyone that complains is selfish.

Regardless of whether or not they can withhold commission, it is 10000% illegal for them to put any commission on a 1099 that they didn't pay out to the individual.
