Halsey's point about letting go of trauma as self-identity in order to grow is beautiful.

Zane is the one person who has consistently been respectful to her and he lets her lead the conversation how she wants to instead of being a controlling interviewer which is all we know in journalism nowadays so in a way Halsey constantly being disruptive is similar to what he’s doing with his journalism because he doesn’t do this with the thought of gossiping

I just love the fact that she chose Zane for the only interview she’s doing on the album... i’ve always found her interviews with him to carry the deepest and most meaningful conversations. Ash you’re definitely liked by more people than you think!!!

Genuinely angry but also almost in tears hearing the frustration in her voice while talking about how female artists are criticised for choosing family or career, as if they are mutually exclusive. Even if we are not living the life she is, this is SO relatable. Women can never make a decision society likes

Zane Lowe is my favorite person to interview Halsey. He's always so thoughtful with the way he discusses things

Halsey speaks so eloquently and beautifully, she really is a poet. Zane Lowe is basically a philosopher.

I cannot relate to Halsey when speaking about her pregnancy and everything it entails, but I know for a fact that if I ever get pregnant I will be able to look back at this interview and others and feel them speaking directly to me. They are not just an artist, she connects with people in a level that no so many accomplish to do. Forever grateful for her music, and for their admirable willingness to share it with us. Thank you, Ashley!

I really love how this album felt so effortlessly done by her. Like she was meant to make it almost? Everything just feels like it "fits" so right, or like its just so perfect.. idk like its in different areas, if you get it you get it if you don't you don't.. if you know you know!

zane lowe is so respectful it's actually so relieving. it's like he molded himself to fit halsey & came from a place of respect & admiration because he speaks so genuinely & even when talking about issues like pregnancy, & misogyny in the art & music industry, he literally says "not to put myself in a conversation where i don't have the appropriate knowledge" before continuing. not to praise him for what should be the standard, but it's so relieving to see a conversation flow so freely & comfortably especially when it comes to an artist who has gone through so much harassment & ridicule

So proud of the person Halsey has grown into. By just letting the music and film speak for itself rather than go on a million interviews about it shows her evolution as an artist to put trust in the art and let people decide on their own. They knows they’ve created a unique and powerful project without any need to prove it to anyone. This creation has really brought me into another world of inspiration. ❤️‍🔥

It Halsey has taught me anything, it’s my “I don’t give a shit about what people think of me” attitude coming into my early twenties. Like jist do your shit and focus on your happiness rather then trying to make everyone else happy and like you… SHES such an inspiration
