Hey guys! Day 5 of Chemo. I definitely know not all of my updates have been on here. Some have been on my Tik Tok and IG @sbgabrielblack but I always have my much longer stuff on here and I will try to keep everyone updated on this platform as well.

Everything has been going pretty well so far. The nurses have told me I'm lucky that I only have 1 tumor and that it hasn't metastasized and that many people with my specific rare condition tend to have a lot more tumors so I'm grateful for that. It's still very depressing because my condition and chemo treatment type is very heavy and aggressive and requires long stretches of inpatient chemo. I've been trying to take the fastest doses possible but felt like way too much fluid coming into my chest so I had to have them switch to the regular amount. There's been a lot of code blues here which is basically when someone has to be resuscitated in my wing which is scary to hear these things happening to the people around you and one was in the room right next to me. A lot of the people here are a bit older than me which I guess makes me feel a little more comfortable as bad as that sounds but also scary because I'm here at such a young age.
