Anyways, since you've enjoyed the first villain playlist and I have a lot more similar songs saved, I decided to make a "sequel". It starts a little bit slow, but after like 4th song it gradually picks up the energy. I did try to use songs that are not that overused although I think whether a song is overused or not is highly subjective depending on what social media and what genre of music you are exposed to the most.
I still have a lot more songs that I can use in the villain pov/context, so let me know if you want more or if you have any other suggestions. Also I was wondering, whether you prefer longer (60-90min) or shorter (less than 60min) playlists.

"Listen well little one, and let me impart to you some good advice," They told the little girl. Ever since they saved her from a collapsing building, she stuck to their side like glue. She didn't care if she wasn't allowed to see their face behind the hood and mask they wore, she was determined to stay by their side. This was when they decided it was best to have a little apprentice right now before their big plans went into motion.
"You either die a hero, or stay alive long enough to see yourself become a villain." They say as they stood on the edge of the building; the bustling city glowing like a sparkling gem under the night sky. A city known to have the lowest crime rate and the most superheroes, who dedicated their hearts to protect their citizens.
'If only they knew, what their so-called heroes were really like,' They thought, the wind blowing against their jacket and threatening to blow their hood down. 'How they pretend to not notice and ignore the mistakes they made to keep up their perfect image. But it's because of their mistakes that I rose up from the ashes where I was left to burn.'
"Does that happen to every hero?" The little girl asked, clutching the torn up bunny they found her holding when her home was breaking apart. She witnessed first hand the same betrayal that they received from heroes, and it was because of what happened that they took her in when no one else did; which may have caused her personality to not be as affected like theirs was. They didn't want her to wind up like them, they wanted her to be better, and not a time ticking bomb like they slowly became. "Do they turn from the light and become villains?"
A sad smile stretched across their face under the mask, as they remembered the good old days of when they took down criminals, when they thought they had friends, only for them to find out on the brink of death that they didn't. Pulling down their hood and taking off their mask, they revealed their scarred face to the little girl. Their one good eye staring at her sadly.
"No, but it happened to me."

“You’re not a good person are you?” The small voice asked. Eyes wide with innocence and blissful ignorance. For a moment the question made you freeze up. Your brain stuttering to a stop as you looked over the frail body. The skin that stretched over bones and the sickly pale complexion. And for just one single moment your mind laid claim to this child.
Your mind already considering this child as your own and how you’d bring the world to it’s very knees to right the injustice they had to live through.
And so you kneel in front of the too small child and brush a stray lock of hair out of their face. “No, no I am not.”
And their big eyes turned towards your other hand that held your bloody weapon then towards the people that you callously killed. Tears slowly welling up as their too frail arms wrap around your neck.
“That’s okay.” They muttered out. “You’re better then all those hero’s.”
And you smiled at that before collecting them into your arms and leaving one last scathing glance towards the cold bodies before leaving under the cloak of night. After all your child need not be stuck into the broken system that was the governments foster system.

You lay in the cell with a grin, satisfied. It didn't even matter, you had completed your goal. Victory tasted better than people let on.
Flames. Broken glass. Chaos all around. You remembered it like it was yesterday. The blood of the 'hero' was sprinkled on the ground. 'Hero' the called them, but where were they when help was really needed? Hadn't you helped them? Hadn't you fought by there side? And hadn't they betrayed you? Hadn't they chose a strangers life over yours? Left you to die? You turned them face up, blood dripping from their nose and mouth, they coughed "why?" was the only word they could manage to spit out as they coughed up more blood, " well, its very simple actually," you replied with a disgusted face. Leaning in you smiled " payback, of course"

You shot them straight through the chest. Dead. Finally dead. Sirens. Handcuffs. You didn't care. You had won. Nothing that happened now mattered.
It was over.
