Steve Porcaro, the song writer for Toto is an absolute genius. The emotional impact as well as the sound of his music is off the charts.
Love how the music hits you right from the start on the first song, it's so raw, visceral and emotional.
A lot of people may not realize that Steve also wrote a song that once Quincy Jones heard it, he knew it would be the perfect song for Michael Jackson to cover and it was one of Michael's best vocal performances imo - "Human Nature"

I love this music becauase when I was 13 or maybe 14 I used to listen to South Florida Radio Stations, remember WGBS, that was FANTASTIC, they had weekly Hit Parades, on saturday nights you could have "NATIONAL Music Survey"with the best 30 hits around USA and on Sunday Morning 'TWENTY TWENTY MUSICAL" with the best 20 hits in USA. That was GREAT.

Desde Guatemala, un abrazo a todos los ochenteros de corazón, los que vivimos esta estupenda musica, con grandes músicos y una calidad vocal, incomparable, había tanta calidad, que no sabia uno por donde decidirse en decir, que había un solo grupo dominante, fueron tantas bandas de calidad, que es imposible nombrar a una sola, yo en lo personal me gustaba mucho, los siguientes: Journey, Simply Red, Simply Mind, Fleetwoodmac, The Cars, Pet Shop Boys, Reospeedwagon, Supertramp, ABBA, INXS, Duran Duran, ToTo,Tears for Fears, Bananarama, Wham, A-Ha, etc,etc. ¡VIVA LOS 80S!
