This era was when musicians were musicians. They knew how to play ANYTHING!!! Toto's "Gorgy Porgy" was straight up RnB. When I was a little kid I thought this was a "Black" song when it came out. I'm Blk American and it was a hit among Blk folks. Lot's of people don't even know that Toto created the baseline that Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" is developed from. You simply cannot fugg with music from this era.

I was a frustrated singer in my teens because of this guy's perfection, and then the music started to change to not-so-perfect right? you know what I mean, and I did get so happy but then it went to nooot-so-perfect😵💫 so I'm still a frustrated singer because I'm ashamed to sing the new styles🤣🤣🤣 my bad, I'll keep trying...🥰🤪😉 I love these guys and always will...!

Fabulous band. I too know them from the 80s. My sister too. My favorite song is "Africa". The music is wonderful!. My 17 year old great nephew sang and played Africa in his high school band a few months ago. He reintroduced TOTO to me recently. Thanks for everything. God Bless You All Always. Mar 8-18-2022

Nobody can touch this brilliant group. Class and musicality personified. And they all came to Toto as well established studio musicians with fathers such as composers and arrangers Marty Paich, Joe Porcaro and yes, THE John Williams. They must all be bustin’ their buttons! I love you, Toto!!

Rosanna, Pamela, Hold the Line drag you into TOTO as a fan, but then you realize your favorite songs are actually not their greatest. One of the best underlooked bands of all time.

I would have added "Girl Goodbye" to this list, from Toto I. I heard it on an album oriented FM rock station as a child growing up, and I was hooked forever. Epic band, countless memories 🤩

What can one possibly say about "Toto"? Musical geniuses? Yes, that defines "Toto". Each, throughout their careers have been studio musicians for major artists. But always come back together to produce an ablum that's always equal or more superb than the one before. I really don't understand how Toto was not any bigger than they were/are. I am going to the Journey concert in February and the news that they are opening for them is why I bought tickets. So psyched to see them live.
