Brendan talking about how she felt like something was lacking when she dated gay men made that piece in my mind click. Maybe I resented my past relationships because I felt like I was expected to be the girl in a heterosexual relationship, when in reality there's a part of me that didn't feel involved/felt rejected at the time.

As an agender person, I look up to these two, especially Dorian. I'm an older gen LGBT (I'm 40) and I just came out as Agender a couple years ago. These younger LGBTQIA+ peeps being comfortably themselves makes me feel more confident.
I oddly relate to what Brendan said about dating gay men. I only dated straight men, and it felt weird because they'd see me as a girlfriend and I'm not a girl. I'm not a guy. I'm just me. I'm amasculine (agender + Masculine) and I mostly use neutral words but I'm fine with being perceived as a guy too. My pronouns are they/per/e/it and I didn't feel happy about my sexuality until I started dating bisexual and pansexual people. I'm pansexual myself, but also demisexual and I'm polyamorous.
I've lost friends and family just for being openly happy and openly myself.
I'm grateful to those in my life who support me.
