I did buy a Nintendo Switch V2 last year, and I am really enjoying it, though the games are quite expensive here in India. I think if nintendo launches it's consoles in India, it can really grab the market cause it's a lot more cheaper than Sony or X box, making it perfect for the price sensitive market of India!

Well said Karl! There's actually a very passionate community of people who are crying out for an official Nintendo presence in India. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is actually very popular, and tournaments with actual prize money are held almost weekly in every major city; Bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai in particular have very active scenes. There's thousands who just want a smoother experience when it comes to Nintendo!
Also, on an unrelated note, what is the music you've got playing in the background of the video?

As someone who last played video game called "Dangerous Dave", years ago I remember when I was a kid gaming wasn’t something that was cheap or readily available, it was considered as rich kids hobbies and I eventually grew out of it and now won’t even buy any console for free, that’s what happened to most people.

I really wished Nintendo would have made a comeback in India. I still remember playing Nintendo 64 games and Nintendo DS games on my phone via emulator few years back when I didn't had any souce of making income. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time was one of the game which changed so much in me and even one of the best game I've ever played. I do wanted to buy a Switch but I've heard even games are too expensive in Switch for Indians because you need to buy that though another currency which makes it more expensive.

I have been a PC gamer here in India for more than 15 years. And I have nothing but disdain for the consoles because they are so overpriced and if you managed to buy a console, then the games themselves are very expensive too.
Thankfully Steam games are relatively cheap as they enable regional pricing model for most of their games. For the games too expensive for Indian market, we sail the high seas.

I get paid like $300 a month. I bought a switch for $400 here. it has an Australian plug so i had to get a universal plug because not all 3rd party chargers can charge this console. But animal crossing was worth it haha. alrough i am indeed salty about nintendo not being official here. I am learning japanese btw. I hope one day i can write a petition in fluent japanese to the CEO of nintendo and ask them to make it official in india.

Should Nintendo re-enter India? What do you think? For my video game market tour videos, start here in Pune, India, https://youtu.be/h-TVnNMkr4c or Lahore, Pakistan, https://youtu.be/KMBrShV-LWI. Update: Apologies, someone got cold feet so I had to take down the Switch modification video. If you're interested in modding your Switch, watch Dammit Jeff's video https://youtu.be/ZwQX68LbEFo.
